SFHS STEM Students Shine in 3D Printing Project

As part of their Industrial Measurements, Design, and Manufacturing unit, South Fulton High School STEM students were challenged to design a 3D printable cup or mug based on a series of predetermined industrial specifications. Using Autodesk Fusion 360, they created their designs, which were then printed using a Makerbot 3D Printer.

Students meticulously measured and modified their products with chiseling and sanding to achieve the desired outcome. The final products underwent a rigorous quality control process to assess variance, accuracy, and precision, showcasing the students’ ability to apply technical and design skills in a collaborative environment.

The students are rightfully proud of their accomplishments. Congratulations to the SFHS STEM students for their impressive work!
